From Rohnert Park, California, near the North Bay. We started as a nu metal band, but as time went on we became more influenced by alternative rock and shoegaze music and started making music like that while maintaining our metal identity. Bands like Deftones, Smashing Pumpkins, My Bloody Valentine, Tool, Deafheaven, QOTSA, Alcest, Radiohead, and Ween would lay the groundwork for our style.
